Quality woes for Mercedes

Yes tsk 1979 That little extra is little for mercedes and if mercedes dont have volumes it beacuse they chose not to have more volumes they want to be exclusive in india like aston martin and bentely but its not possible any more The competetion will bring the prices where they are supposed to go but i am happy that after a huge effort atleast some one is able to understand that which companies overcharge Us

A middle class american earns around 100,000$ a month. He can buy 3 mercs with that money.
A middle class Indian earns 10,000,00rs an year.
But even at 30,000$(US price) which is around 15L an indian cant buy one with yearly salary.
So mercedes would definitely want to sell more cars in India.
Any company would.
If mercedes were to charge us similar to what they charge in US, mercs would cost around 5% lower than what they cost now thats all. Thats hardly a premium.
If mercedes would sell merc at US price + Indian taxes, even then volumes will not be high. Even at 20L very few indians will be able to afford a merc.
Anyways there is nothing left to argue, I think my point is right, and you think yours is right, so lets leave it at that

1)Abosultely wrong first of all its not middle class who will even talk about mercedes and india you will find all sorts of people in india but definetely middle class people who talk about merc should atleast earn 15- 20 lacks

2)I have lived in canada 2 years and america one year and i am a canadian PR I have known atleast 100 Familes in both countries working in good companies and owing Business And not even 1 person alone other that Ceo of my company WhIch was ISACORP made 100,000 thousand
Even my companies Hr managers And Vps were paid aroung 70 ,000 dollars an year so its absolutely incorrect to say that middle class americans make 100,000 an year I dont know about you Tsk if you been to america or lived there then you can share you experiences but an average middle class american makes 25000 - to 50 000 at the most

And you can check with any of our Team bhp members who live in america
If some body is a top banker with Bank of america then he will surely make
100.000 and may be 500,000 but an average middle class american makes less than 50,000 and i am 100,000 % sure about it cause i have on hand experience

First of all, this number is way off. The average middle class salary is half of that. See this info.

Second of all, even people who make around $100K can't afford to buy mercs in US. I should know since I was slightly above this bracket while in USA, and yet couldn't think of merc. People who can buy a merc (S or E series)comfortably have to make above 150K or 200k. You have to realise that people have mortgage payments, medical/dental/car/home insurance payments, daycare, property taxes, etc. These are all big ticket items. I have known not-so-rich people whose property tax payments could buy a Honda Accord every year. The income looks big, but so are the expenses.
