One of the most reputable guys ive come across,

Well hold on and watch as u melt... and if this is what merc's gonna pull off for the next C ... Good times are gonna be better for merc with the currect aggressiveness by them with so many new cars...

You're not gonna like what I'm about to say S350....but here goes...!

Benz is trying to compete with BMW as to who can out-ugly whom! I like the front of this C, which has hints of the "edge" design in the bumper, but the rear is U G L Y. Reminds me of an earlier generation Hyundai or Kia! The interiors too look like a VW Golf.

Sorry, but I just had to say it. My cheque goes to the New 3 series.

Boy am I glad that I picked up the current C Class already! I do hope the next C does not look anything close to what S350 has provided. But then I dont think it will....Mercedes has traditionally been a more generalist and mass-appeal luxury car maker, unlike BMW which considers itself a specialist.

The new car designs really terrify me, and one by one...car makers are outdoing themselves in churning out even more uglier designs.

Change is always hard.....
but in this case i like it!
The front looks agressive and sporty...nice
the rear looks solid....but not great...looks a bit swollen.
Overall it is good looking id say!

Hahaha... i just view things from a more neutral point of view.....ive realised that time can change views from hate to love... so i just keep that in mind and look at the car.
However, there are cars that i dont like!..but i just dont go on and on about how bad they look

Guys these are just impressions,
I think the lights will not be the same cuz this has the BMW eye brow effect in it...
GTO, Yes definately Current C is too good a car esp. now the new facelifted one which is comin to india in June has done wonders in europe.
rtech, The new 3 well dunno much cuz as far as what ive seen are highly camoflauged versions or silly chops... i need to see them both in real press pics or up close then make a decision but something tells me with an itch... the next C will be better then the next 3....

Time will tell but lol even if the 3 is better ill still market the C lol...
Believe me there is nothing in this world i like more then mercedes ...

Rehaan, u get it frm both eh? wanna share some lol??

I honestly like the front end of this new C butttttttttttttt not on a C Class (However weird that may sound). Its really mature and a straight lift off the current S Class, but does not suit the chuckable and young image of the C Class range.

S350, The C is actually my fathers. Its a 180 in Classic trim with leather seats.

what the hell's happening? forgive me for saying this guys, but though i'm a very very loyal and die-hard fan of MBs, even the current E has a tinge of Korean-ness to it. Like I'd mentioned in a thread before, I wud never buy the same designs if it came from a less prestigious manufacturer. It's just 'coz of the three-pointed star on the hood, what say? Is it MB's turn to copy Hyundai/Kia or whatever?

Remember the C-class predecessor (before the C, E and S nomenclature came out), the 190 E?? I'd pick that one in Porsche silver, subtle skirts all around, put a killer sound system and fat rubber+sexy wheels......and upgrade the engine too.

I dont think the newer cars can beat that design.........you cud, and still can recognize old merc designs just by the silhouette, but the same thing cannot be said about new MB designs. I guess that's what great designs are all about. GTO, u with me on this

Heres my opinion

I like the front look of the car .Its nice. But its equally opposite of what I think of the rear. That rear just doesnt go with a car of that size. Its made to look like shrunk S Class. Really dont know where Mercedes is heading. After seeing the new cars one cant help but miss the old classics from the W123, thw W140 , the old SLs and yes like manticore said... the 190E. Its one of my all time favourite Mercs. A compact tri pointed star thats what it was all about.

What would I give for those old classics...

Slightly modified (in terms of look) C Class is coming in July mid. It'll look more or less the same as the current one. Few changes here and there with current Kompressor engine. It's look sharp. manticore, nothing to worry about. Unfortunately I cannot post the pictures.

LIke I have said before, I am an absolute sucker for old designs. Call me traditional, old fashioned whatever...I like my designs clean, proportional (a big problem with todays cars) simple and uncluttered. Not surprisingly my garage has alteast three cars with understated designs.

Hey GTO, Nice choice man i think C with elegance package is a rip off!!

So do we see you trading it for the facelifted version? They shud get the new CGI engines...

And guys when u see these pics pls remember they are just an artists impression based on the mules running around heavely covered.
