Same here, the old and current ones look much better. At least in the pictures.

But overall looks fabulous!

Cayenne is a great car/SUV. But somehow it looks awkward and slightly un-proportionate (forgive the grammar!). The rear looks a bit weird and out of place. But with that Turbo S engine, who give a darn about looks! Pedal to the metal, all the way!

The rear is pretty much on the lines of the other oddball, the Panamera.

This Porsche looks as if it was designed by the Koreans. Agree with Suhaas there, the rear does look somewhat like the Santa Fe and that is no good news for Porsche fans. IMO the Cayenne looks even more ugly now.
