Damn it looks so much like the Maruti Ritz/ Suzuki Splash. Hmm I wonder if Suzuki is making these for GM - Daewoo?

I think that the front end is very similar to this :
O Kei! Suzuki Cervo bows in Japan — Autoblog

Skoda Fabia looks quite similar to Swift and this car too looks very similar to Suzuki cars.

They have lost the edge from looks department as Suzuki already a car that looks quite similar.

Spotted the Chevy Beat on Whitefield road near Hoodi Circle today. Couldn't take any snaps as I had to take a left turn. It was a GJ registered car with badges and front covered.

To me it looks like Splash and 1st Gen Santro had a one night stand. Splash for the front and Santro for the rear. After seeing the interior spy pics of Indian car this car is a big no no from my side.

It all will later on boil down to availability of diesel motors, IMO. Here Splash will have advantage.
BEAT will further come in (sub) 1 litre Diesel engine and will priced between 3-4L. Do you have more details of the diesel which is going to be used in BEAT?
