Uggghh.Such a boring car.The overall look somehow reminds me of the Corolla.

But have to admit, the interiors are neat. And if this car is launched in India,it will definately be hot-runner in its league.

Why the hell cant hyundai make proper grilles?

I didnt like the look...it reminds me of the NHC, well atleast the concept....maxmising interior space...looks taller which is not a good thing.
I liked the lowered stance of the current accent better in my opinion.

dont mind the front that much. its the rear that is a little putting off. we never got the earlier accent here as well which was 10 times more hopeless then this. so its ok to live with this one on the roads here.

manson .
manson, you need to compare the Hyundai Sonata Embera sold in India and the ones sold abroad. Hyundai Motor India is just as big a cunning fox as any other car manufacturer in India (if not a bigger one).

As far as this car goes... A cross between a Corolla and an Optra. Can Hyundai ever come up with someting original

Finally spotted the all new Hyundai Accent here in Toronto. This particular car is owned by Enterprise rent a car and was parked in our dealership's parking lot. Check out the Pics:

Looks like that ugly sea animal (forget the name). Kia Sephia is so much better.

Is the new 1.5VGT diesel available in Canada.

It will be better even if they continue selling the present Accent here, the new one is really really bad.
I wonder what mr. Clarkson would have to say about this car? hmmm....

The more I look at the new Accent, the more I get confused about Hyundai's plans with the new Accent. I mean all basic or mid-size cars are getting more luxurious and upmarket. The new Honda Civic looks and is more upmarket then the old one, so are the VW Golf/Jetta and even the new Skoda Octavia (Laura) or for that matter any new redesigned car. But the Accent looks more downmarket then the one it replaces. Those tiny tyres are simply pathetic! I can see the car selling in western countries but how will it compete in India against the Optra, NHC and Fiesta?

Hey Mpower, the Accent is not avaliable with the diesel engine here. The only engine is the 1.6L 110bhp one.

The rear looks very optra and skoda inspiled while the front looks so much like a corolla!!! But over all the car looks beafy and solid than the old accents which looked like as if they are made of tin sheets... The interiors look decent. Th dashboard looks quite in place. The tyres are like that of scooters...Any specs on this car???
