I watched a podcast by CarTV on the new 3-door Accent. They say the car is developed to be tuner friendly. May be petrol heads with lesser bucks will be amused....

Wow...the front looks like a cross between a baleno and corolla and the rear is kinda skoda'ish!!!...Not too impressive but the interiors look pretty decent...with that retro type speedo console...

Don't much like the waistline moulding...way too high.

Hyundai's on to a winner with this one, look at how small the rear wheel looks, means that boot/rear interior space is humungous!!!

IMHO Kia does a much better job of putting good-looking bodies on Hyundai's platforms....check out the new Kia Rio which looks much better than the new Accent:

One wishes Hyundai brings in Kia bodies with a badge change, but then it looks like Kia is setting up shop in India too:

Its certainly a new product but the personality and poise of the old accent is gone.

Its the same case as the OHC and the NHC.

1. That review has been quoted a few hundred times.

2. It pertains to the older accent, (for what the report is worth) and these comments have been discussed in detail on other threads. See date of the review - its early 2005, before the new accent was announced.

3. Your link takes us to the summary on page 3 of the report. Check page 1 (I'm sure you have) and you can see that its the older accent, which is not the version you have doubtless seen in the pics here.

Your post is misleading, because we're talking about another model altogether.

believe me that the interiors are not as good. Or wait till you see it yourself.

The new accent is a big flop if unless they play the price card and pit it against the Indigo.
