They have plans to use the Troubled Asset Relief Plan (TARP) to save the Big 3. (CNN Money).

"We do appreciate the positive statement that was released by the White House this morning that says they are reviewing all options that are necessary -includingthe Troubled Asset Relief Plan - to help the industry," said UAW President Ron Gettelfinger."

Thousands of jobs will be lost! Obama has his plate full even before he takes over. US economy is gonna nose dive and with the credit card crisis looming around the corner and coupled with these impending job cuts, it's gonna be hard!

Tejas, the head honchos of the big 3 running these corporations did not think like you, they thought that the Senate would bother about that, like you stated, unfortunately the senate interviews the loan seekers, the sad part remains etched in history is that the big three pointed haired bosses did not deem it fit to come by commercial airliners rather than private jets.

Private jets as we all know do not run on tax payers funds. If the senate is going to be pushed into a corner, they as you know will not like it.

It was a dumb thing to do from the pointy haired peeepul at the big three.

Sell junk, remain junk, expect junk.

Where do you think the largest sales came from ? Fleet sales . If there was a question in the Senate to bail out Toyota, i think they had a slim chance.

Look up the numbers on their balance sheets, it would provide a larger perspective than team bhp does, not that i am saying there is less info. no.

However it would put things in perspective.

Regards
