While in one section of this forum we were discussing the upcoming 430/460 modena, a thought came to my mind. What's really the best entry-level supercar/tourer that your
1,00,000 pounds could buy? It seems easy at first, frankly we all have favourite brands/marques amongst the ones at the top, but it still isn't as easy as it seems.

Ferrari has upped the ante with the Stradale. This 425 bhp flame really has come up to the competition and all of a sudden that jittery and flitty handling is gone out of the door and in has come this fantastic piece of engineering.

Porsche's 911 turbo has been the benchmark for the other 4. But its 414 bhp was seeming a bit too lil, so in comes the 456 bhp performance pack that just makes the car go faster.

The Ford GT seems to be as good, if not better, than the GT40 of old. And tests across the world seem to be putting it ahead of the 360.

The Gallardo somehow also seems to have done the same. A mini Murci with performance shatteringly close to its bigger sibling for a tempting price.

The DB9. Lighter, more powerful, more user-friendly and yet beautiful.

No none of the above statements were taken off product brochures, but frankly all of them are so good that i am having a tough time deciding which is the best. My heart screams for the Porsche but i love the others too much to ignore them too! You might be the biggest cynic of one or a combination or all of these marques, but you just can't ignore the fact that all of them are devastatingly capable cars.

So take your move and select one. As for me, i am still wondering where to put my vote.

Ok, before i get hounded as to why have i taken the stradale and not the regular 360 and why the performance pack 911 turbo and not the GT3-RS or even GT2, lemme just say that i have tried to take the best car in terms of performance, price and tried to bring some equality between all the 5.

Gallardo for me. It's not only small and powerful, but also a great handler. The Stradale is good too, but i don't think it has what it takes to match the Gallardo on a track.

Ford GT, hmm, it's powerful and a good handler, but not a great one.

Regards...

I'd like to vote for Ford GT but Gallardo is so painfully beautiful! Cannot decide between the two

Revv, dude, you always come up with these difficult polls. *
Despite being a Ferrari lover, I don't like the 360 much. The only Lambos that I love are the Miura and the Diablo, so, the Gallardo is out.
But, the DB9, Ford GT and 911 Turbo are all very high on my list of desirables.
The Ford GT is perhaps the best supercar of the lot - superb performance, amazing handling and fine looks.
The DB9 is the best high speed cruiser. Performance and handling are good and it also looks the best of all. Plus, it's an Aston Martin, *which is reason enough for me to love it.
Finally, the Porsche 911 Turbo... 4wd, good handling, superb performance and a car I've dreamt of owning since I was a little boy. Seriously, I'd be in tears if I had to leave out either the Aston or the Ford, but, the 911 Turbo is the car I'll take.

360 might just nudge ahead coz it got F1 Gearbox ... RWD ... And its a Ferrari man ....
But I love 911 ... AWD ... better then 360 in 0-100 ... top speed too ...
Uhhhh Revv wat diff poll man .......
Ok finally its 360 .... but 911 is 0.00000001 % behind
FERRARI KILLS EVERYTHING!!!!

Man this is hhhhhaaaaarrddd!!!! harder than i thought it would be..I saw it and I was like let me just click..but I had to think think think...and found gallardo to be on my top list..even though i find the 360 more beautiful, but still nothing to beat the gallardo performace and class combo.. but my second choice would have to be the
360 and then DB9 then Ford GT and last but surely not the least Turbo..

Cheers

DB9 like JC put it, is awesome..but depends on your priorities..I dont think it can compete with the 360, Gallardo etc on performance..but otherwise its the best all round car here..that I can say for sure..if you want to pick an all round car, it has to be the DB9 in this..

Cheers
