Default 1915 "Ford Times" - Sales Brochure - 95 pages

My brother found a whole lot of 1915-1920s Automobile Trade Literature in mint condition in the attic in a home of a friend of his a few years ago. I thought some of these would be of interest and a good point of reference.

I have three copies of the "Ford Times", a wonderful insight into the genius of Henry Ford from a marketing point of view and has some great articles and photos. Many of the Fords that came to India were built in "Ford" Ontario that became a part of the City of Windsor just across the river from Detroit.

Hope you enjoy this thread.

John

P.S. I might be back here in Toronto but I'm only a click away.

Hi Mr. John,

Very interesting information about Ford, appreciate your efforts to share
with us. I am also interested if possible, presently Ford is producing
Ford cars: (1) Ford and (2) Mercury Grand Marquis in the same production
assembly line or they have different facilities for (1) and (2). Technically
both cars share the same panther platform, same engine, chassis and
outside appearance, only small cosmetic changes like front grille, badges, etc. I have very little information that it is produce in St.Louis Plant. Appreciate if you write more details about it. Here in Saudi Arabia they
marketed under two different brands. I have Mercury Grand Marquis LS.

Also look forward to see more about Ford history and literature you
mentioned above.

Regards,

The Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and the Lincoln Town car are all assembled at Ford's St. Thomas Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada. The Town Car used to be assembled (at the now closed) Wixom Assembly Plant in Michigan till about a year and a half ago - Wixom was the sole Lincoln Plant for quite a few years.

The Lincoln MKS sedan is produced at Chicago Assembly, the Lincoln MKX (SUV) at Oakville, Canada, along with the soon to be launched Lincoln MKT seven seat SUV.

The Lincoln MKZ (previously Zephyr) is assembled along with the Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan at Hermosillo, Mexico. Cheers
