First Big Boys Toys Show - Abu Dhabi Pics

Hi.

Below are pictures taken at the fist ever "Big Boys Toys Supershow" that took place last week in Abu Dhabi.

Some interesting cars were to be seen including a Ford GT and the Ferarri California Spyder.

The blue car in the first two pictures was displayed as the fastest street legal car in the world today, the Spyker.

Ferarri California and the Nissan GTR. The California was on show at the Club Scxuderia stall. This is a time share club that owns a host of exotic machinersy. The idea is that you can buy membership and get to drive any of these cars for a total of 60 days a year.

Cars include said Ferrari, 612 ,Enzo, DB9, Vantage, Porsche GT3, Bugatti and lots more.

Starting membership fee is 60,000 Dirhams !!!!

One question. It seems the recession is pretty bad in the gulf, are a lot of super cars available for dirt cheap prices, distress sales and the like?

You are welcome bro. Yes the recession has hit the UAE in particular quiet hard.

Till a few months ago it was a sellers market and now the buyer is king. Dealers are for the first time in history offering 0% financing on cars like the E class Merc.

Used exotics can be had for very reasonable prices too. I'm looking at a 80's 560 SL with around 110,000 KM on the clock. The guy wants 25,000 Dirhams for it and is willing to negotiate.

Wow! Thats about 3 and a half lakh odd INR for a gorgeous car! I truly wish we had similar prices here in India
