That was just episode #1 and yes, I loved it too. However, the joy was shortlived as the other episodes followed.
Take my advice - don't spoil your time and mood watching the rest 3.

I'v started to understand why lots of people keep mentioning that TG Season 13 is getting a little drab. Is the equation going all wrong suddenly? Gives rise to the question. Is there a season 14 coming? They may want to die down with lotsa fans.
Looks like I've been thinking too far.
For now, hoping for the rest of season 13 to live up to its old charm.

Just finished watching S13-1 to 4 in a span of a week and yea it doesnt feel the same anymore. James May really needs to be sacked. Clarkson's getting old-er. The other blokes pretty ok.
They waste too much time with the (unknown) stars in that ugly Optra.
The news section is also Ho-hum(Pretty Ok).
The drives from god for saken places to nowhere are getting really boring now.
TG has lost its feet. Need to revamp.

You call Bolt unknown! I think the show is geared towards british audiences, therefore the unknown bit does not count.
As for May, he is the captain slow, but he is losing his touch. Hammond is better than ever.
As for Clarkson. He is pretty rude and obnoxious, but thats why people want him. But he is losing his touch. Too bad none of the bullets hit him though

Even Hammond and May were disappointed .

and the cars for 17 years old was hilarious.
"Girls absolutely get turned on by a perfect drift" HAHAHAH
although the certain X factor is missing from the show. But have faith people

@jai-uno-t, you've got a lot of questions to answer.AFAIK, you are the only t-bhpian who's been on top gear!! first of all , we'd like you to please give a small write up about the whole experience of being on the best tv car show on air. Is the stig really around there? are there any top gear cars at all? or they all borrowed? are the trio courteous with the audience. they look like that on TV though.

The end where they had a McLaren F1 vs Bugatti Veyron 1 mile drag race was awesome!!!

But I was surprised that F1 didnt have ABS, etc!

I totally like topgear now! They are so informatively hilarious!

Didnt really like the Panamera segment too much but the Evo 7 vs those tanks was awesome.

give the f1 a break!! its almost 15 years old and is better than most super/hyper cars available today.
second only to the bugatti/zhonda/koenissgg

loved the lp670 drive through emirates.
the run with the SLR 722 was orgasmic.
who said Top gear is losing its charm.

I'd still take the F1 over any of those cars. I don't understand though, if they had all those cars available, why didn't they have a drag race between all of them? Would've been FUN

Episode #4 was OK, but definitely much better than the previous 2.
The Porsche Panamera is very ugly. There was no prior description about it's stats like they do during the other races/challenges. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember TG doing a Panamera review in the older seasons).

Coming back to episode#4, the part with the EVO and the deadly military bunch was nothing but AWESOME!!! It felt even cool to watch it since this evening I was going through the older episodes where in 06x01 they had a similar situation where Clarkson in a Range Rover Sport, was being chased by a Tank!!!

Now, I definitely am eagerly awaiting the rest 3 episodes!!

Top Gear is back !!!

And I do mean it.

This was the best episode so far, with no dull moments at all !! Won't spoil the fun for those who haven't seen it, but it was brilliant.

Looking forward to the next one with renewed eagerness now.
