Hey F50, You are 24 months too late. The F60 IS the Enzo. And these pictures that you have...are of the preliminary design stages

It started with the F60, then they named it the Ferrari FX and finally "Enzo".

But yeah, these prototypes might have had more than 650bhp. They always take their designs to the extremes and then bring them down, to meet production norms.

Again, you'll all seem to have a common misconception. Apart from contrary belief, the Enzo is NOT the F60. The F60 is due out in 2008

As far as the reports go,the f60 was later rechristened to the Enzo.

Maybe this helps.....there is also a mention of Ferrari f60 part 3...

I know im late .... after looking those pics in black surely i am but ... First two pics I wont consider that as enzo no ways ... that could be F60 or may be similar to this
And what Grim said is true expected in 2008 then ... I may be 48 months early

F50, the pics u posted are NOT for the F60 but just some student designers imagination by my guessing. And as for the F series, an F series is released every 10 years or so. Now, the F40 was released to celebrate the 40th anniversary and the F50 for the 50th one. The Enzo was just a one off as a tribute to the legendary owner of the company.
I do not written the link to it, but I had seen a similar discussion in SC.net where everyone had given the explanations and the links but which I cannot find now. Maybe If I google tomorrow and find out.
I may not like Ferrari, but its always good to keep up on what the competition is like

Just went to Ferrari.com and here are the details,
F40 - 1987 (exactly 40 years after start. Eventually brought to compete against the Uber 959)
F50 - 1995 ( 2 years before but named as 50th anniversary)
F60 - 2007-2008 probably. (not stated but very obvious) (you must be thinking maybe they just removed another 2 years after F50 but that is highly unlikely)

That the Enzo is successor to the F50...there is no doubt. Whatever it is called, its exactly the same philosophy that went into the F40 and the F50. F1 inspirations, limited editions, purchase only by invitation and so on. Luca himself has called the Enzo "the successor to the F50" in many an interview.

But Ferrari should launch another supercar in the next 5 years. Its extremely profitable for them, orders are not an issue at all. Branding it a special name could be either the F60 as Grim said in 2008...or even a Ferrari Schumacher!! But the photographs provided by F50 are not of the "expected" supercar in 2008 at all.

Yes Rehaan, F60, FX and F140 were prototypes which finally turned into the Enzo. It's also possible that they might launch another Ferrari with the F60 tag but, that will be a completely different car/project.
