A ferrari driver was in the news once.

the guy pushed his F-40 to 300+ k's ..and made a complete video record which sold over 10 000 copies ...the jap police finally tracked him down and he was convicted of breaking numerous rules ...proof of evidence was his own video ..

Yup, got that one. What he did was very very dangerous. You should have seen how quickly he was overtaking the other cars and trucks. I bet if anybody was to enter the right lane to overtake, this guy wouldn't have had the reaction time and the braking power to stop.

There's another vid of a Jap tuner taking his tuned Skyline to the Autobahn and testing it at 354 kmph.

it was crrrazyyyy ... the cars he was overtaking seemed stationed such was the speed of the F-40 .. he did slow down occassionally there were no close calls in the video ..he did take whatever precautions one can take at such speeds...

Nope it was the Blitz R348 Skyline with 850bhp. BTW it wasn't 354kmph, it was 343.35kmph.

That's the one.

The vid was shot in Jul 1999, on the Autobahn.

An aside: The Jap F-40 san is/was the head of the Japanese Ferrari club.

Did you see the way the thing accelerates from 240 to 300. Quicker than Indian cars from 40 to 80.

from the link by speedsatya:
"The sheer irresponsibility of doing that speed on a public road, endangering his life and other people's lifes is shocking. To do it all just out of love of a beautiful car is just outrageous. What
a star. We need more people like that around."

Hahahahaha!!!
