| Senior - BHPian | Isn't ID:357 a Clan Crusader?!! This car was a two seater and was made between 1971-1974, having a glass-reinforced polyester body powered by a rear mounted, Hillman Imp 875cc engine at a 45 degree angle, developing 51 bhp @ 6100 rpm. The care weighed merely 610 odd kgs therefore the engine achieved a top speed of 160 kmph. The company unfortunately had little success with the car as it was expensive at its time. the company also tried selling the car as a kit but by 1974 the oil crises had set in and no one wanted a sports car even if it were economical. The company thus closed down in 1974 making as few as 315 cars only.

| Senior - BHPian | Ok V16, you are so close I'd better just give away the answer ID 357: is the Clan Clover. It was one of the last cars made by the company before they went bust. They started initially in 1985 made 6 kits of the car, after which 20 fully-built versions were made, after which production stopped. Unlike the Crusader, this one used a mid-mounted four cylinder Alfa Romeo 1500cc engine and gearbox and some other changed mechanicals. You are wrong about the company's shutting down date, though. They only shut shop in 1987.

| Yes Ajmat its the Bristol 603 S2. 603 was launched in 1976 as a replacement for the Bristol 411. It was initially offered with a choice of two engines, i.e. 5.2L and 5.9L V-8. In 1978 Series 2 was introduced and the larger 5.9L Chrysler engine was standardized. Air conditioning was a standard feature. Series 2 remained in production till late 1982. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Distinguished - BHPian ![]() | @-GS-, ID:299 had visited the Bristol coupes. viz. 1959 Bristol 406. ![]() It took four months to hand-make a Bristol 406. It had a rigid strong box-section chassis, over which were fitted light aluminium-alloy panels. The spare tire was tucked away in the left front fender. The right front fender had the battery, brake servo and windshield washer reservoir.
