1979 Guanci SJJ1 GT
That it is American is easily evident from the quarter-panel side marker lamps that must be amber or white in front and red at the rear.

But FourWheelDrift, this is a custom-built sports car prototype with a Chevrolet L82 Corvette engine -- one of only two ever built. It never went into the volume production planned for it.

So I'm not sure it qualifies for our thread. Wonder what our other friends think?

I agree with Ram, please fourwheeldrift, lets have cars in production. This one qualifies as a one off certainly.

It is an A60 Farina but front end is neither Austin, Morris, Wolsely , Riley or MG derivatives. Ram has stumped me

ID:472 is a 1962 Austin Freeway powered by the famousBlue Streak Six engine.
The grille, stretching all the way gives the game away.
The freeway was made in Australia by the Australian arm of the BMC.
At first the A60 was was introduced in 1959, in Australia with a 1622cc rather than the regular 1489cc four cylinder engine. This was rejected by the Australian people, being under powered.
In 1962, the Freeway was introduced with a 2433cc, 80 bhp, Blue Streak Six engine with 3 speed manual transmission as standard and offered as an option, was a three speed Borg-Wagner auto transmission. It also offered, windscreen washers, reverse lights incorporated in the tail lights, etc.
Both the track and the wheelbase were marginally stretched in the Freeway which had a wheelbase of one inch longer than the A60. This made the car roomier and with more shoulder room.
The Spare was shifted under the boot floor with its own tray (like the Qualis and Innova) making the boot spacious.

Edit- Jays got there while I was typing

Default ID:473; 1962 Austin Freeway Mark1

Yes ID:473 is a 1962 Austin Freeway Mk1

Introduced in 1962, it came both as a four door sedan and a five door station wagon.

The "Blue Streak" 2433 cc 6-cylinder engine was developed in Australia, but it was a six-cylinder extension of our venerable Landmaster/Ambassador BMC B OHV engine. This 6-cyl. develops 80 bhp.

The grille treatment had a classic design of horizontal bars in gleaming chrome, the radiator grille extends the full width of the car beneath the headlamps. This set it apart from the British Austin A60 Cambridge.

The model was discontinued in 1965.

Is it some Ferrari ? Made a guess after looking at the wheel central nut lock. It surely indicates something, but I cant remember.
