As impressive as the 'Vette was, I think the GT-R will BLOW you away. Jap quality, electronic management, razor sharp precision handling and grunt (note : based on hearsay) will be in an entirely different league. Man, this is really the perfect upgrade to a Corvette. Both cars providing for value in their own way (Corvette = Max bang for the buck, GT-R = performance equivalent to cars costing 2x the price).

Not to mention, either are iconic cars. Congrats 1day, you have got all of us drooling. Hope to have a full-fledged ownership report from you (hey, I could also cover it in my style over the next USA trip )

P.S. : Did you get a good price for the 'Vette?

P.P.S : Wicked number plate. Kylr

Thanks guys, I cant tell you how much i miss it, i barely got to drive it for few hundred miles before my trip to india. Now I have another 2 1/2 mos before i get to it, so when i get back I will take some better pictures and some videos if chicago weather allows.

I did carry the KILR RYD plates from the vette as they were absolutely fitting for the car.

I could have gone ahead for the ZR1 but an additional 30k was holding me back along with the reason that, with the GTR i can have my son with me as well where ever i go.

My plan to mod the vette would have matched if no exceeded the ZR1 but i still choose the slower car (relatively speaking) because of my son and my obsession with the GTR.

@GTO - You are most welcome for a review session, may be we can set something up which might include a track session if we time it like that.

One saving grace in india is the drive in the LP560, I have driven lambos but not any that I could push as hard I will this one

BTW is some delhi members wanna meet, I would love to.

LOL Thanks for the reminder, just did that. I will be driving the 560 in delhi tonight, it would be a short drive today, but will do a longer one some other time. Going for a movie with him, so dont think my wife will appreciate me leaving her stranded for a test drive for too long :-p
