Default Maserati in Lake !!!

Didn't find any related threads. So thought of creating a new one. This Quattroporte ended up in lake after losing control.

UK seems to have its fair share of exotic car crashes.

My guess is the driver was enamoured with such beautiful surroundings and lost control.

The front seems to have hit something before taking the dip.

the front of the car looks cracked up - must have gone through a couple of fences/stiles atleast before landing in the drink.
poor chap - I dont envy his position at all with respect to his repair bills.

>>> Good observation.
Might have lost traction on a turn going at a speed higher than necessary and crashed through a fence or some such obstruction.
It is not a Ghibli- thank God for small mercies.

Pardon my ignorance but I could not get how the Veyron plunged into the water at 125 only. Maybe at 250 or so I can understand. That too with no one else on the road.
