Pics are not clear enough to say how the car may look but from the front and back it looks like Merc cleary wants a uniform identity among its product as in the pre W123/124 era.The C/E/ML/CLS more or less seems to have that same squarish design. I donnow how much everyone likes them . I think its just okay .

As far as design is concerned I feel Merc should hire a couple of designers from Audi both for interiors and exteriors.

Rectangular ORVMs looking a bit odd on the swoopy CLS. Merc's current penchant for going retro is not going to work with the CLS.

I think it's gonna be another stunner like the current gen CLS.
It does look bigger both in length and width.

Not very different looking, as compared to the current style. I like how the C63 and the likes are now, more rugged and square lines!

Based on the above spy photos, these CGI developed by Auto Bild likely to match the new CLS:

I like the front, totally dislike the tail lamps though, Merc will need to do a super quick facelift on whichever cars have these tacky taillamps, I think the 2011 E Facelift will lose it first, as it was the first to gain it.

That's a nice update I think, the only thing the mag messed up is the tail lights, they will look similar to CL and not E, just see the prev gen.

I think it should have good reception in india if they assemble it here and price it right.
