I was watching this top gear video - parking lot getaway.

First came the Peugeot 306 GTi 6
BHP - 167
0-60MPH - 8.5 secs
It completed their parking lot track in 54.7 secs.

Second came the Westfield 1800
BHP - 115
0-60MPH - 6.5 secs
It completed their parking lot track in 52.9 secs.

Third came the..... wat????? Wagon R???? no way I can't believe it!.... but soon they said Vauxhall Agila!
BHP - 58
0-60MPH - 17.5 secs
and somehow this one looked very comfortable doing it.
It completed their parking lot track in 50.3 secs.

Last but no way the least was the BMW 540i
BHP - 286
0-60MPH - 6.2 secs
This had way too much power for this small twisty track
It completed their parking lot track in 51.3 secs.

So obviously the BMW was the choice for the getaway since it would be much faster once escaped from the parking lot.

But I am impressed that a Wagon R looking car can beat the BMW.. at some place at least.

Is the Agila is exactly Wagon R???

well, it looks so (except the headlights and bonnet edges) and the only actual difference is that its some 10-20cm wider!....
Ok, but its still wagon R ... I think this version of Wagon R was called wagon R wide. (there's another similar looking Wagon R version i.e. the Wagon R+)

My guess, Vauxhall is a GM company, and so is suzuki in europe (20% owned by GM)... hence we find the Wagon R in GMs list.

The Wagon R is sold as the Opel/Vauxhall Agila in some of the markets.

But did you see that handbrake turn by Tiff in the 5 Series? Absolute perfection man. That showcases his car control brilliantly.
