| BHPian | It wont come with the 2.4L to India, nevertheless might be a good sell considering Maruti's share in the overall market. |

| It looks similar to the Vaxhaul(Opel) Insignia (may be for me). The kizashi they displayed in motorshow was totally different and were with 296bhp 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine. I don't think it will make into Indian market in the near future. Suzuki learnt with Baleno and Grand Vitara that anything they need to sell in India has to be manufactured here to keep it competitive. Spec wise 2.4L may be but surely not with 184 bhp, also 18" wheels and paddle shift - no way. Let Suzuki iron out all the issues first for a few years before bringing it into India. | Team-BHP Support ![]() | Like most new Suzukis, the Kizashi seems to be a driver oriented car. Look at their recent lineup, the Swift, SX4, A-Star...all boast stiff well-handling chassis'. A USP now? Look forward to a proper full test. Here are Jalopnik's comments and popular mechanics as well. Suzuki's biggest challenge will be in maintaining premium quality & refinement. Their small car prowess is unmatched and Suzuki is a Jap master at li'l hatches. However, as one moves up the ladder, Suzuki's expensive cars lack the finesse, refinement & premium feel that one expects. Take the SX4 as an example. Inconsistent interior quality and the older engine used to get coarse toward the redline. Or the Grand Vitara, sit inside and it simply doesn't feel like an 18 lakh vehicle. |
