Man, this car is shaping up very well....Glad that they have used the CarreraGT type headlamps rather than the cliche round ones on the rest of the Porsches.
If only they put a stonker of an engine and price it well, we can say goodbye to the M5,CLS AMG,etc

Looks like Porsche have a real looker on their hands right now. As for the headlights, I really would have preferred the "cliche" round ones. The CGT's dont seem to give enough charecter to the design upfront. Appreciate the effort and thinking Porsche is putting into this, but hey, besides the rear-engine, the round headlamps are what makes a Porsche, a Porsche.

Its indeed hard to digest the fact that porsche comming with 4 doors
How about this?
Instead of having 4 doors, porsche can come out with Suicide doors like the one in the Mazda RX-8.

Note from Mod - I think you unintentionally put up the wrong file from your PC -

Love the rear, love the overall lines. Apart from the CLS & the Rapide, wouldn't one of it's competitors be the Maserati Quattroporte?

Looks really different in the video! like the over all looks though. its not like all other sedans... far-sportier. What are the chances porche will get it to india? considering it has got Cayenne here pretty fast! Shouldn't it do well in the indian market if priced right? coz indians hav a thing for 4 doors!

And also this concept from Jaguar which replaces the S-Type in 2008. It's called the C-XF and it looks menacing.

CAR Online has snared the best spy photos yet of Porsche's new four-seater, the Panamera. Think of it as a four-door version of the 928 - a four-seater GT to bridge the gap between the hard-core 911 sports car range and the Cayenne 4x4.
We won't see the Panamera in showrooms before 2009, with prices stretching from £54,000-£84,000.

The Panamera is Porsche's answer to the CLS
; a geniune four-seater set in the GT mould. The front-engine packaging and long wheelbase are designed to free up lots of cabin room for the four deep-set passenger seats, while the hatchbacked boot will top 475 litres (more with the rear seats folded).

Secret 4-door Porsche in SA!

A trio of slightly disguised Porsche Panameras were caught out and about in dusty Clarens where a Wheels24 reader snapped the new four-door model.
