Default Toyota - losing its shine?

Moderators,

Please check if this post should go through or not - I am attaching ( all copyrights acknowledged) two articles here, published by The Economist magazine, dated 12th-18th December 2009, on the woes that Toyota is facing worldwide, due to a variety of reasons ( mis steps in different geographies, product recall, lack of exciting products in its range and so on).

The idea of the thread was to share information, which is already in the public domain, whilst acknowledging the copyright.

Thank you.

Default

nice write up..feels very trrue
Toyota had to make cars to excite people.
they cant just concentrate on places where they reap big money. their radar's never readt BRIC nations or developing economy .
I feel this is a time toyota has to wake up & rejig. or they may RIP in years to come with eroding profits
