Default Hot Skoda Octavia vRS

Hot Octavia vRS unleashed

Skoda has launched its most powerful production car yet - the Octavia vRS.

Available as a hatchback or estate, the new Octavia has sport seats, deep bumpers and 17-inch alloys, and comes in a range of limited edition colours.

The Octavia is fitted with a 200bhp, 2.0-litre turbo engine, producing 206lb ft of torque from just 1,800rpm.

This takes the car from 0-62mph in just 7.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 149mph.

This is the next RS headed out way.... Lets hope its not detuned like the present RS from 180 to 150 but even if it is ..it still rocks coz this one is 200bhp so if they detune it to 180 its not too bad. The car looks good but that color is hideous! Could have done better alloys on it too....17inch look small on this new octi. Lets hope it heads out way soon!

I am among the lucky few who have already sampled the engine's capablities . I drove the VolksWagen Jetta with the same 2.0 L turbo petrol engine and boy what a ride it was! This new engine is really tractable and has a good balance of BHP and Torque. You never feel like the engine is running out of breath. VW recommends premium fuel for the engine here so I guess if it does make it to India, they will surely de-tune it.

Already ABD racing released chip upgrade with a gain of 60BHP.......so 260bhp
This car is going to be a fast car…………

Hope this engine comes to India soon.

I think we should get better fuel (98 and 100)in India.....
