So..here we go..another poll. Seeing so many LandCruisers and Pajeros everyday..this thing came to my mind. Both are powerful, both are handsome, both have good off-roading capabilities, both can be found in almost every part of the world..both are from South East Asia
But which one of these would u be having...if u had a choice between these two. In this poll.. let us keep aside the versions of these cars viz. Colorado, Amazon, 2.8 or 3.2 GDI and concentrate more on their demand. So the Pajero??? Or the LandCruiser?? Please add the reason of u r vote if u can.

LC - preferable something from the early '80s..then the Patrol and then the Pajero - as long as they're older versions, less bodykit and plastic , body on ladder frame, manual, turbodiesel. - SWB for offroading, LWB for road trips into the hills.

I guess I like the looks of the old LC's and Patrols better besides I'm not too fond of the way people regard the Pajero as 'God's Heavenly Chariot' - Pajero is to offroaders what Sony is to electronics - one of the best but there are other choices available which are as good, perhaps even better and have a certain exclusivity--sorry - rarity.

Modern offroaders and softroaders can stay out - it;s got to be dirty(from the outside at the least), have a bunch of tools and kit in the back, good ground clearance, has to be a diesel ...no plasticky pretty looking ones - got to look crude and tough....and back that up with substance....

hey...you should have included the LandRover Disco and the almighty Defender....

ok. here is my vote... and it goes to non other than the Mitsubishi Pajero. Serisouly i dont find.. anything gr8 in the Pajero over the LandCruiser but its my love for the Pajero thats making me vote for it. By the way.. I personally feel that a Pajero looks a little better than a LandCruiser!!

I got a HUGE soft spot for the Pajero. Especially the body on chassis type, not the monocoques. So yes, its the Pajero for me.

The pajero should rather be compared to the land crusiers little brother, Prado. Comparing those two i would pick the pajero.

after driving my cousin's lc, i wouldnt touch another big suv(apart from the cayenne!)
the street presence it has is amazing, people just movie out of the way and every tom, dick and harry, constanly stares at u!!!!!!!!
leave all the the interior space is enough for all my uncles and dad to sit together!(mind u they are all 6 foot plus and above 120 kilos!)

the ultimate vehicle 4 the indian conditions!

Spot on Sahil. LC is bigger than the Pajero while Prado is in the same league.
