Stumbled upon this old thread and the posts were mostly about Aston Martin's only, which is undoubtedly the quintessential Bond car. But there are many more cars that have appeared on screen as Bond cars over the years. So I tried to make a post on some famous bond cars.

1. The first James Bond car – Sunbeam Alpine Series II.

Known as Japan's first supercar, the Toyota 2000 GT was the obvious car of choice for the movie You Only Live Twice, that was set primarily in Japan.

The Toyota 2000GT is a limited-production, front-engine, rear-wheel drive, two-seat, hardtop coupé grand tourer designed by Toyota in collaboration with Yamaha. The car is powered by a 2.0 litre inline 6 cylinder engine producing 150 bhp. A total of 351 models were produced, making it a very rare car. The 2000 GT was actually a hardtop coupé, but Toyota made modifications to produce a special open top version just for the film.

5. Aston Martin DBS

The ORIGINAL cars used in all the 24 James Bond movies including the Rolls Royces, Aston Martins with the ejector seats, missiles/ rockets, the Lotus that went underwater, bikes, flying machines and other artefacts that were actually used are on display at the London Film Museum.

They have been loaned to the museum by the film studio.

Those interested in seeing the James Bond cars in original should make a visit the London Film Museum - it's worth it.

A short video on the displays in the museum:
