How to get inside a Bentley

I was on vacation with my family in this lovely little city state, and it sure is a paradise for an automobile nut!!

But 4 days had passed and my head got numb after seeing the countless, s-classes, beemers, cadillacs, lexuses ( strangely, i never saw an audi ) to the point that i didnt even care to snap these cars.

But today was different.

I had my breakfast at the restaurant down the steet and as soon as i stepped out, i saw a continental GT. I scanned it like a hawk almost with my mouth open. But as soon as it passed , i was ruing that i didnt have the presence of mind to snap atleast one picture.

By some sheer luck, i saw the car parked at the porch of my hotel. Determined not to let it slip by again, i scampered up to my room to get my camera, and as soon as came down i started snapping away .

Till now, the whole thing was similar to spotting an exotic back home.

I was off the top, i was eyeing the car with so much intensity that it could have amounted to harassment. Just then a chinese gentleman came running up to me and said" Hey what do you want( in a chinese way)" . I explained my part, and he started smiling . he was the chauffeur and the car belonged to the hotel owner.

The Continental Gt belonged to the 90-year old woman hotel owner who bought it as a birthday gift for itself. A 550 hp car for a poor old lady who never wanted to go more than 60?? Now ive seen it all...

Nevertheless, i met her, got the keys, and stepped into the car.. and boy was it worth it.

Correct me If I'm wrong. But something tells me it is a Bentley Continental Flying Spur and not a CGT

- What is the thing attached to the Driver-side Wind screen ?
- Does this car operate as taxi for the hotel ?

i think the thingy attached to the windscreen is the device that automatically pays toll.

i think its a speed.

scorcher, i think you are right, here is a picture of the rear profile of the car and it looks like the CFS. Frankly, i was overwhelmed by the car back then and i simply assumed it as a GT because of its front view

It is infact the automatic toll paying device mandatory for all cars there.

No, its actually her private car. i have seen it only once during my one week stay.
