Default Toyota to surpass GM in 2006?

Japanese newspapers are speculating that Toyota will overtake GM to become the world's biggest auto-maker. Toyota, itself is keeping quiet about it's expansion and production plans for 2006 but analysts say this is very much the possiblity taking into consideration Toyota's expansion plans for 2006-2007.
I knew this was going to happen but the fact that it could happen so fast is something of a surprise.
Lets wait and watch if what the analysts expect will actually happen. Interesting 2006 ahead.
