I watched the qualifying, but just noticed something.
Senna outqualified Petrov!
Did Petrov make a mistake or is Senna just better?

Race will be interesting if it rains. Else vettel will run away with one more win. Hope Sutil finishes in a higher position in the race to improve his driver standing to 9th.

Will Force India retain him for 2012? Else Renault might be interested in signing him.

The only thing that could make the Brazilian GP interesting is rain. Otherwise we might see Webber scoring his first win of the year with a bit of help from Vettel. Massa out qualified by Rosberg and just 0.2 seconds ahead of Sutil at his home race. Why is Ferrari keeping him on for next year?

Rosberg out qualifying Massa's Ferrari has been interesting!
Hoping for some rainy action today on the track!

Overall, a much better race than the last few ones. Webber ends the year on a high. That should boost his morale a bit for next season. Plenty of actual overtaking and some DRS assisted moves. For me the length of DRS zone here was perfect. One had to be close enough to make the move stick.

It is Senna's home track and hence the performance. They are almost performing similar with forward facing exhaust car.

Good to see both the Force India's among points - VJM has something to be happy about.

Webber 1st, Vettel 2nd - consolation prize for Webber from Red Bull?

So, that's the end to a rather dull season!

Formula One this year was more like Formula Yawn in most races. With no real fight for the championship, or even race lead, things got rather boring by the middle of the year.

Why doesn't the FIA allow two tyre manufacturers? Why have they done away with fuel pitstops (and varying fuel load on race start)? The more the consistency, the more the boredom. Except for some action here & there, the Brazilian GP failed to excite on a Sunday night.

On season close, it's time for some retrospection by the FIA and, hopefully, they spice things up in 2012.

Nevertheless, a huge round of applause to Vettel.

ESPN HD:

Steve and that other fella, SO ANNOYING!!!!
not for their commentary, that was cool, but they just wouldn't stop speaking when the team radio notification came on!!
by the time they acknowledged, " lets listen to XXXX", the communication was over.
and THEY didnt hear it too, cos out of all the 15-20 on-air ones, they reiterated only about 2!!

Rightly said mayankk ! Would've been a lot better if they could just shut their mouth instead of having to acknowledge!

Kudos to Force India for finishing up 6th on the Constructor's table.
Hope they come up with a much better performance in the next season.

Congrats to Vettel too for becoming the youngest double World Champion and with gearbox box problems i don't think he did that bad by coming second yesterday in Brazil.

Great finish for Force India to end this season. Now its time for them to decide on Sutil.
Has the schedule for 2012 released? If so, when is it happening in India?
