Default FIA Formula 2 silverstone round 1 and 2 (pics)

Last weekend were the opening two rounds of the FIA formula 2 at Silverstone and my nephew was racing his first full season . Have been going to the races since he started in gocarts .
He finished 1st in both the races which was excellent. Parthiva Sureshwaren another driver in the same series was a let down.this is his third season and still he is in the backmarkers.

Hey, This is great news. I would like to congratulate Luciano and yourself too.

F2 is a great championship, it made a much needed return in 2008. It is renowned to be very tight (as can be seen from the timing sheets) and also champions from here go on to do well in a multitude of events upto F1.

It would be great if you could write in brief about Luciano's career uptill now and his future plans.

While flipping through youtube, found this video:

Brilliant would be an under-statement for this move. To make such a move for the lead of a race requires some skill and more importantly self-belief and confidence.

It was brilliant. We were watching from the brdc club enclosure and we could not cheering for awhile. It was also good for his sponsors Comma as they were watching at the brooklands as well.

Forget the Overtaking, it was in all case Brilliant

The Commentary is something we need to take note of. It was Superb and exciting This is where F1 looses Big time.

Thank you Jalsa. It was a brilliant, Luciano winning the championship. On Saturday we were down as the race did not go to plan even though he qualified P2. Everything came together on Sunday in race 2. Partied all night long. He is preparing for the F1 test in 2 weeks time at silverstone. It's not sure at the moment but maybe going to take part in the MRF race series in India .

Oh yeah, the new MRF series is supposed to be very good. Haven't seen the car yet but have heard that it is very good. Dallara chassis et al!

I still don't get how he manages to still drive in international racing series.
Btw, I noticed Vicky Chandok present in one of the pictures. What was he doing there?

Well, F2 champion, Williams F1 test and err...MRF series?
