I am betting on either Romain or Kimi to win this. Romain actually has a better shot than Kimi, he is on cleaner side and is likely to jump ahead of Alonso at the start. Top 5 are pretty much equal wrt their remaining tyres. Vettel has an extra set, but i don't see him finishing ahead of Lotus cars. Webber in P11 has two extra sets but it will be hard to emulate Kimi's Bahrain performance simply because others are aware of it so can react to it.

I'd like to put my money on either Fernando or Kimi. Kimi most probably. Romain doesn't seem to have that mush of a lead in race pace and the team will definitely favor Kimi. Gonna be a good race today hopefully.

Wow! Mclaren's ability to screw themselves up this year has been amazing. Is this the Sam Michael effect? I am glad he isn't with Williams anymore. Their changes have definitely had a +ve effect so far.

I went to sleep last night with LH on pole and in the morning I see this pole stripping news. Been a McLaren fan for long but this is very very disappointing.

Only thing ill take from this is the positive response from LH and not bashing anyone. He has certainly matured.

I pity Hamilton, a bit too harsh a penalty. The Pirellis sure have screwed this years F1

What has Pirelli got to do with this?
McLaren under-fueled Hamilton's car and tried to pull a fast one. Last time they did it in Canada 2010, and got away with a warning. No excuses this time. It may be harsh for Hamilton, but McLaren deserve the punishment.
Maybe FIA should have just stripped off the fastest lap from Lewis and then excluded his car from constructor points. That way Lewis would have had some chance of fightback. Now Lewis will be lucky if gets a point from this race.

I wouldn't call Hamilton's penalty harsh. This was really not expected from a front running team. It was okay if this was done by HRT likes.

Not a smart way to get your car on pole, Mclaren! You knew car was worth only for 6th row onwards. Shame!

Encouraging signs for Ferrari for sure.

Sorry for not phrasing what i actually meant to say.

The Hamilton thing was a different issue, i felt its a bit harsh.

Regarding the Tyre thingy. Its for sure screwed up big time, Days are not far that we will see only 3 to 4 cars competing in Q3, while others stay put in the garage saving tyres for the race.

Where is the Qualifying shoot-out days gone,

When it comes to racing too, we see the P2 guy closing in on the P1 guy, but he eventually gives up in order to nurse his tyres. As someone said here, Hope F1 does not become WWE.

It would be WFE

Unless FIA goes back to previous set up of Tyre compounds just like Michelin and Bridgestone had, we cannot expect to have track-ripping race finishes like old Mika and MSC era. In the last 5 or 6 laps there will always be 2 or 3 cars trying to save tyres-engine-gearbox.

All set and ready for the race I feel Lotus is the team to beat today, would like to see Pastor Maldonado and Fernando Alonso do well.

Looking forward to an exciting race today.

Sorry for you. But they don't have anyone to blame. This is the 3rd GP in a row where they have screwed up. This is certainly not expected from championship contending team i.e. if they really want to win.

On the other hand, I am excited as hell. Williams first pole (in dry weather) since 2005. Now I can only pray that Maldonado can keep it together to at least get a podium out of it.

Damn Bruno Senna, Takes out Michael Schumacher from today's race. Another DNF

Mercedes Radio " SORRY MICHAEL "
Michael Schumacher " IDIOT "

Hamilton did a great job, but his pit-crew at it again, Looks like Alonso and Maldonaldo and Kimi will complete the P1, P2 & P3 today.

Bruno Senna was hit by Grosjean while overtaking and it resulted in him hitting brakes hard and Michael rammed into Bruno's car.

What a drive by Hamilton starting from behind the Grid, unfortunately the pit crew screwed it again and Hamilton had to jump over a tyre gun.

Excellent Drive by Alonso and Maldonado, feel Maldonado has the edge if he could keep his head till the end of the race.

38 laps gone, Maldonado still doing a fine job. Please do it for another 28 laps

As a Williams fan, my hands are shaking as I type this.
