| Hope to Rossi back in full song. It has been disappointing to see Rossi perform so poorly at Ducati. Lorenzo and Rossi was an amazing team. |

| I hope Yamaha give him a bike is just as good in strait lines as it is around the chicanes. Rossi will fight his way up the ranks and a Ducati will simply fly past him on the start finish straight. |

| I dont see much hunger left him in any more. Lets not forget the first three years that he won, Yamaha was inferior to the Hondas. It was Rossi's brilliance that made him the champ. With Ducati, I dont see that hunger/eagerness from him. |

| Senior - BHPian | Yamaha was built around Rossi in its initial years of Rossi's contract.Im sure Rossi will be back with new energy with Yamaha next year...atleast my hopes aren't dead as Im an ardent Rossi and Yamaha supporter. |

| Senior - BHPian | Great news. I simply love Vale riding a Yamaha. And it will be battle royale with a stronger Lorenzo. But it doesn't read too well for Ducati MotoGP team though. I am sure Vale would have wanted to win at least one race with them. Is Audi pulling the plug on MotoGP? I hope not. Can they get Stoner out of his retirement plans? I certainly hope so. |

| Rossi's first stunt with Yamaha was immediately after Honda ( IIRC ). He was determined to win and he did that in the first race itself. The bike was created to keep Rossi satisfied. In Ducati, it was like the team was trying to keep Nicky happy and Rossi was No.2 ( as somebody else mentioned ). I would have loved to see Rossi back with Honda. The sheer power of Honda would be of great help IMO. Rossi could help Honda get a bike that is quicker in chicanes, and in a straight line, nothing like Honda. | The next season just got very, very interesting. Rossi has not been at his best the past 2 years and I'm sure he won't be racing for too long now. He would like to go out with a bang and Vale on a Yamaha M1 is the best way to fulfill that desire of his. I have always loved to see Rossi race and his performance in the wet this year was sensational. The field is strong though, with Jorge as his teammate and Marquez moving up to MotoGP on a Honda next with Dani Pedrosa by his side, it is going to be one heck of a race! Can't wait! |

| Its sad that Rossi cannot make Ducati a winning team. He is going to Yamaha to face more failures is what i feel. Its not really a good marriage that will yield any better result. |

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | Interesting speculations guys lol ! Bottom line is that in 2 years, Ducati was not able to come up with a bike fast enough to win races and no light at the end of the tunnel for 2103 either. Rossi isn't getting younger so he wants to win at least 1 more c'ship before retiring. I would have expected him to grab Stoner's seat at Honda rather than come to Yamaha and butt heads with Lorenzo. But Spies's lackluster performance this year only helped the case. Last edited by Mpower : 12th August 2012 at 18:53. |

| Let us wait and see. Now he will have a competitive bike under him, so no excuses! |

| Senior - BHPian | Ah, Thank god. Somehow I was just not able to back him on the red bike. Dream debut again? wishful thinking, but hey... |

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | Rossi moving to Yamaha was the best news of last week. I too was unable to see him on that colorful red Ducati bike as it didnt suit him beside it was hard to spot him in the last rung of riders ![]() As far as i understand, Honda's are the fastest bikes on the grid but, Yahama's are the best handlers and Rossi's overtaking manevours are legendary so a better handler will surely suit him to perform better than a faster bike. I too wish that he wins one season and then hangs up his boots |
