Default 2012 F1 - Indian Grand Prix -Buddh International Circuit

देवियों और सज्जनों भारतीय F1, आपका स्वागत है

17th race of the season, and WDC hanging by the thread, what more can we ask for, Just hope our home GP is not a boring one.

I would wish Sebastian Vettel to Seal his Championship here, and Narain Karthikeyan some good result and the raring Force India cars to finish in Top-10. Last but not the least, the ever burning desire to see the outgoing Schumi on the Podium.

Aah! Nice preamble to the post.
Agree with you and I share the same desire of seeing The Legend once on the podium and whats better than to see him on the podium in our own Motherland.
The titan of cricket and f1 shaking hands. A treat to the eyes.
Many fast corners out there. I hope it will be an interesting race after a spate of dry ones. Will be great to see Alonso win here followed by Schumi and rest. Really want Alonso to win this season.

Thanks!!!
Awesome Opener.

I am hoping everyone except McL have a lot of sausages this time, following Massa's experience last time around. He just couldn't resist our flavor!
This is going to be the killer ear shatterer, and I am hoping for the silver arrows to pickup the gauntlet, sheath it in a velvet glove, and show good strong consistent , er, poo-chutes(Thank you JC) to the field.
Wake up Hammy boy!

Killer opening post @Pavan!

I hoped for it last year when I was at the tracks, I hope this year - let Schumi, if not a podium finish, atleast give him a car and a race where he is able to show his true strengths.

OT : FYI - that third, arial image is not of the Buddh circuit.

I agree, can't relate the aerial image to the circuit.
Also, 4th image with the flag looks funny, How is the flag holding up? someone is missing from the pic.

Just some inside stats

Track marshals: 283
Fire Marshals: 144
Recovery Marshals: 75

Most of the marshal team is Indian with a few mentors from abroad.

I hope Ferrari, McLaren and Lotus give a good fight, and spoil the Redbull party. Not a Ferrari fan, but I believe Fernando has been quite consistent throughout the season and is a deserving candidate for the WDC. And hope Mr. Grosjean clear the first turn without any drama

He has just done a race without doing that. Highly unlikely that he will do one more

Seriously, i hope for no DNFs among the contenders.

Wow, super opening!

I just hope the GP is nice and so are the dust levels around and so is the traffic . Last time I had terrible sinuous headaches till night due to the dust (dust allergy) around the track. This time hopefully things have been corrected. Will also be confined to my TV enjoying home comforts in cool Chennai (hey its raining cats and dogs these days )

It will be Vettel this time with Alonso on toe at the podium.

Great pic of Sachin and Schumi. :-)
I wish Schumi wins this race.
1. Schumi
2. Alonso
3. Massa or Hamilton
11 or greater Vettel..
Dont want him to win this season!

I'm not supporting Ferrari in this GP. Italian marines kill unarmed fishermen without provocation and Ferrari sympathizes with them. My country comes before my passion or likes.

Though I respect Ferrari's choice to show support to their countrymen, I wish a few of us Indians also show support to our countrymen who were killed by black-flagging the Ferraris or displaying banners with the pictures of the fishermen who were killed.

Agree, on similar thoughts...

I want both Force India cars to crash out in the IndianGP!

I sincerely wish that some people black flag Ferrari and hold placards with appropriate messages. Don't bother if TV cameras don't cover them, they can be shared over Internet.

I would rather want affected people to protest against Mallya rather than the cars crashing out.
