Interesting to see how Maldonado joining Lotus goes (with PDVSA sponsorship), with Total already onboard.
Two oil companies sponsoring the same team?

They are from different continents, remains to be seen how many common markets they have.

Just in.. Maldonado and Grosjean confirmed at Lotus for 2014

HAHA! I knew that alleged deal with the Pakistani "tycoon" Mansoor Ijaz of Quantum Motorsport was B.S. .

So I guess it is inevitable Hulkenberg and Perez are going to Force India ?

Sutil to Sauber and either Guiterrez stays or Sirotkin fills his seat ?!

The things people do for publicity.. and the length of time he did it for.
Shameful Mansoor Ijaz.

Lotus will be getting a lot of flak on choosing a 'pay driver', forgetting that they always said their preference was the Hulk. It is very apparent that in the current economic scenario and Ijaz's B.S they had no other option but look for PDVSA support. Lotus were desperate for cash (ask Kimi!), this was the only logical solution. Everyone who was against pay drivers and will give Lotus a lot of negative press, would have done exactly the same.

Lets not forget Grosjean too is a pay driver, his transformation this year is for all to see.

Now, the Venezuelan..

He has the speed and the talent and these two aspects make him among the fastest pay drivers out there. But he is reckless and hot headed, no doubt, but a top team with a chance of podiums will keep his motivation up and make up for his frustration he has felt all through 2013. Lets be honest, the Williams this year was a dud.

And, he has won a Grand Prix.

From a very reliable source on TSN forums, Ferrari has put an offer on the table for Brawn. It all depends, if Ross is interested in taking a new challenge back with Ferrari. Fingers crossed!

I just hope he doesn't go back to Ferrari and instead take McLaren out of the ICU. Ferrari has got enough number of competent people.

Seriously, I wish the old nemesis are back and fighting for top positions. Wherever Mclaren & Ferrari is right now is no good at all!

The source also says about 2 offers that are made by Ferrari, one with Ross and the other with the man behind the RedBull dominance. Ferrari is waiting for their decisions, now this news is all the more exciting

Saw that on the web earlier. It's fascinating! However I'm suspicious on its accuracy.
It's possible to fit that engine in the engine bay of this car? Not to mention the rest of the transmission, gearbox etc.? What about the tires and brakes needed to cope with the insane output of an F1 engine.

Could it simply be sensational journalism? And this, just a future 'turbo' LaFerrari ?

Some news for Mclaren Fans. Source: AF1

1. The 2014 car has been names MP4-29A
2. ATM_Andy indicates that the car will be radically different.
3. Peter Prodromou has bought his right hand man from Redbull, Dan Fallows.

Interesting developments as this also indicates that RedBull is slowly losing their technical team in the process.

So happy to hear the hulk is the FI car. The only question remains -- does that mean PDR is a goner (Sutil is gone for sure, in light of his negative comments made about the FI car this season, it must mean he has security elsewhere) ?

Is this possible?

Sutil -> Sauber
PDR -> DTM
Perez -> FI

Romain Grosjean says seeing a sports psychologist has been the key to unlocking a series of strong results towards the end of the season.

I think Lotus should hire that psychologist, should be cheaper than the repair bills they have to incur, . Good to see that Grosjean acknowledging the mistakes he made, unlike his future team mate Crashdonado, errr, Maldonado.

I don't agree with VJM' pick of jackets but signing Hulk is a great decision.

f1fanatic says Force India are yet to confirm which of this year’s drivers, Paul di Resta or Adrian Sutil, will be replaced by Hulkenberg.
