Exclamation Toyota to supply engines to Williams from 2007

http://www.formula1.com/news/4692.html
Its been confirmed. Toyota will supply engines to Williams from next season. Williams will get the same engine as the works Toyota team.
Now this brings up 2 points:
1. Red Bull is definetely going to switch to Cosworth next year.
2. What is going to happen to Midland? Surely, Toyota wont supply 3 teams together.

Midland will lose their engine and have a Cozzie in the back of their car.

RB have a contract with Ferrari and cant take a Cozzie, it will kep a cosworth in the back of the Torro Rossos.

Midland have more than an engine problrm if you ask me

a little out-of-date on the topic, aren't we? bmw broke up with williams last year, they are now running cosworth engines, and bmw have taken over sauber.

Although Toyota has promised that both the engines will be equally tuned (Toyota's own and Williams'), wonder if that will be really true. Won't that be a natural disadvantage for Williams.

Its same spec, they will get the Toyota current year spec.
When it comes to delas, Frankie Williams is no fool.

What will matter is the support that comes with the engine, but IMO the WIlliams electronics are top notch, so engine management should not be a problem.

Williams Toyota will be a good deal.. atleast better than Cosworth. Infact Toyota is showing a lot of potential since last race... so it all looks good! But nothing like having a Engine manufacturer to be a part of the team! Hope Williams get back to their glory days!

williams will benefita lot from toyota engine..
apart from performance.. an association with a large engine manufacturer will also generate a lot of PR for williams
and put rest to the uncertainty around their future..
..its a 3 yr deal
