German GP to alternate circuits
A deal has been sealed stating that the German GP will be held at the Nurburgring and the Hockenheim at alternate years. Nurburgring gets 2007 and 2009 German GPs while Hockenheim will host 2008 and 2010 German GPs.
I think this is awesome and should be done for other races as well, as long as its possble. It'll make the races way more interesting. For example: Spanish GP can alternate between Circuit de Catalunya and Jerez; British GP can alternate between Silverstone and Brands Hatch.
The fact that the race will be held on the track every alternate year also relieves the track owners and operators from a lot of stress; now they have two years to accumulate the required fundings for an F1 race.
