Rip Nicky. He was a fantastic racer. What an irony with both Nicky and Schumacher. Both were awesome racers brought down by freak accidents. Goes to show that the track is probably much safer than the outside world.

Super Bike racer dying in a bicycle accident. A while back Crikey Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter who handled thousands of crocodiles killed by a stingray! What an irony!

RIP Nicky.

Sad to hear about this. Am not a big MotoGP or SBK aficionado but do remember watching Hayden ride. Tragic the way it happened. I suppose it's always tragic when someone so young and so full of life is taken away like this but you wouldn't have expected him to meet his end this way.

May God grant his family the fortitude to deal with their loss.

RIP Champ!!

Nicky Hayedn was someone who came into the MotoGP racing scene as an extremely talented and promising person. An overall 3rd in his 3rd year of MotoGP riding with his team mate VR46 was great. The next year he had a fantastic run and luck played both against and for him before he won the championship that year. Post that, his performances did not speak for his skills, but a fierce competitor, he was.

RIP Nicky Hayden!
