Default Ferrari start criminal proceedings against Nigel Stepney

Looks like someone has been stealing secrets at Ferrari.IMO Thats what it looks like and Stepney was the last person i expected to be involved in something like this.It is not confrmed what the offence is though Ferrari have acknowledged that they have taken Stepney to court.

Earlier in the year 2 Ferrari employees were convicted for selling secrets to Toyota in 2002-03.

I wonder who must have benefited from these data ????(if it is true).

There is ONE team boss who cares two hoots for ethics and wont hesitate to do anything for an advantage. I wont name him here because that will start a Ferrari v/s Them debate, but I wouldnt be surprised if that is the team.

Criminal procedings... wow! he must have REALLY pissed someone off. I wonder why someone, after working for 15 years, and saying that he is open to offers, be involved in an espionage scam. that would effectivly screw his career everywherE!

Ever since Brawn has left Ferrari they have started to struggle. The
rate of development was sustained for the initial races, but now they are reverting back to
their old ways of the 80's and early 90's where politics rules and technical development takes a side step. Feel bad for Kimi, he should have stuck with McLaren.

Whatever the outcome, I will tell you this: we the watching public will never know what actually happened. With Ferrari and Stephney on a face saving mission and a certain Bernie Eccelston out to make sure that F1 doesnt get bad publicity, you can imagine what a tamasha of a court case it might turn out to be....

now Police have actually found documents with Ferrari techical info with the Mclaren employee, believed to have been supplied by Stepney. And you know who the person from Mclaren is ? team’s chief designer Mike Coughlan.(itv.com/f1 - McLaren's Coughlan implicated in spy case)

I was wondering were Mclaren got their sudden speed from????

Yes read this news on the F1 site this morning. Reports say Stepney plans to sue Ferrari after his dismissal. But sue them for what? If documents were found at Mclaren someone on a an equally big position in the Mclaren team must also be involved.

Forget the '80s and '90s. With Schumi playing an Important role in the team for the last 3 races, none of these things will hold good, wait and watch!!

Stepney is just trying to save his face,i doubt Ferrari without solid info will go to such lengths and start criminal investigation against members of their and competitors teams.

I wonder what will happen if it is found that Mclaren have used the data to gain benifit either tatical or performance oriented.
