Me too! The tears in his eyes with him beating his heart on the top step of the podium in front of his home fans said it all! Just can't stop crying for Massa.

Anyways Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton!

Wow, that was an incredible race.

But give it atleast 24 hrs before you start celebrating. After Belgium, im not believing anything i see on television.

Lets hope the stewards dont find a way to spoil Mclaren's party this time around.

But the Glock issue sounds a bit fishy to me. Last corner of the last lap of the last race....phew!!!

+1 to that. He had it all sewn up - unfortunately Glock wasnt within his control. Something fishy about that - we've seen drivers with dry tires in the wet before, nobody has had to slow down to that level.

Absolutely fabulous! Lewis deserved the title and I'm glad he is champion. The FIA and Ferrari will now have to find new ways of robbing McLaren and Lewis of the title. I love it and can't wait to see the number 1 sticker on a McLaren in '09.

What a thriller. Couldn't ask for a better finish to the season!
In the end, I'm a very happy McLaren and Hamilton fan. Massa drove brilliantly. My heart goes out to him. But, in the end Hamilton's got more points. That's the way it goes. Hamilton deserves it.

Shame Shame Lewis. did he win the championship?, he could'nt drive this race properly.

Glock-- if you had no fuel, how did you park your car into the pits my dear. Real fishy in the last 4 yards. Toyota shame on you.

Lewis was GIFTED the Championsip. And thats the ULTIMATE TRUTH

My heart goes out to Massa. For me he's the real World Champion.cheers:

Grand Finale for the season, even rain gods cried and washed aways Massa's tears.

Massa anyway has won more races than Lewis. So there's nothing i see extraordinary about Lewis being the champ.

2009 Season--- I am waiting.

Now, all sorts of rules and explanations will be hurdled upon them.
Only happens when something happens in favour of Mclaren!
If the same thing happened to some Red coloured team, then everybody will just shower praises of the most absurd kind.
Ferrari has lost the driver's championship. Accept it guys!

+1 to that. Have been waiting long for this to happen.
I wish the number 1 stays where it's now for a long time to come!

Well nobody asked Glock to run on slicks in the wet weather did they? Let it not be thought though that I do not appreciate Massa and Ferrari for running a wonderful race from start to finish. They deserved to win this race; the drivers championship though they don't deserve.

To be honest this championship should have been done and dusted a few races ago. Who can forget the stewards decision from Spa where Lewis drove a brilliant last 3 laps with slicks in the rain to take the win only to have a ridiculous post-race penalty slapped on him?

Last year we had the mother of all cry-baby's (Mr. Alonso) spoiling Lewis' chances but none of that this year. Lewis drove well in the dry and the rain, he drives and scores consistently, the machinery was reliable and he deserved to win.

zak its not about us accepting , it wont even matter if we accept , but then after a race like that and moves of vettel for gaining a spot into 5th confirming the championship

and then glock's slowing down due to the tyres ( you cant say its fuel or engine because he drove back to the pits) , that's what is not making us accept him as a true champion
He might have won it , but the fact is that it was not his last minute effort but some fishy thing which made him win the title.

P.S. another reason why massa missed out was the incident a few races ago of the fuel pump - a major setback to his hopes at a brazilian driver winning the championship after 1991.

Well, wasn't it Glock who had once said that he'd like to put Hamilton on the grass? It's clear that he wasn't going to do Hamilton any favours.

WOW!! What a sensational race it was. I though Vettel spoilt Mclarens party, but in the end things changed. The last 2 laps was just amazing stuff. Am happy for Lewis for winning the WDC 2008.. Great drive by Massa. He jus ran out of luck.

Lewis, amazing drive till the end. He did not mess up the last laps witht he situation he was in. I am sure last few laps of Lewis was pressure cooker stuff!!
