Talking F1 2010 - Anybody got this yet ?

Cool gameplay video, looks ultra-realistic

Finally, we can take Eau-Rouge at full throttle & see if we make it out in one peice ! And the best part of all this - the Indian F1 track would be included in the next version of this game

I was sooo looking forward to this game and was to order the PC version from the F1 website for myself but unfortunately it is out of stock. Only the PS3 & XBox version is available as of now.

Looks absolutely superb though!!!

Finished downloading the game. F1 2010 is AWESOME!!!!!!! Mind blowing graphics and an almost realistic gameplay! There's a nice story mode. You start with either HRT/Lotus/Virgin Racing. You also have to address the media before and after every race. This will affect your relationship with the team and fans.
All tracks and cars are amazingly detailed. Loved the Singapore track!

Can you explain what exactly is that? Is it randomized or you get to control the driver's reaction?

After a race, it could be a press conference or the media will be there to ask you questions. You have to select an answer from the given options.

Things I didn't like about the game:
1. No realistic damage: I once had a high-speed crash but just the front wing broke.
2. No safety car
3. No live commentary( I remember it was there in F1 2000/01)
4. No champagne/award ceremony after podium finish
5. Qualifying is a single session of 20mins.
6. No pit babes

I think the mods won't appreciate me giving torrent links so I'd rather PM you

Yeah its a great game. Totally love it. Even though the short race weekends can seem a bit long for the not so enthusiastic fans. But for someone like me it is just ridiculously awesome. Loved playing every bit of it. Its definitely not a full on simulation like netKarPro et al and its definitely not an old nfs type either. Codies have managed to find a decent balance between the best of both worlds for the wide range of audiences. Sure there are things that could be improved but considering its an official F1 game after so long im ready to discount that and just have fun with whats there.

The Easy mode is completely for beginners though and i doubt anyone from tbhp would be interested in it. Medium is a decent start to get used to the game and from then on you can move up the levels till the Expert mode.

I'd suggest getting a good wheel to play this game [hint:Logitech G25 or G27 or even a Fanatec] cos until then you really dont get the full effect. It just isnt complete without it. When using the wheel i found the assists that they have on lower levels pretty annoying as it kept pulling the car away from your control. Turned off assists and traction control and it was a lot easier although those might come into some use if you use other types of controllers. Those assists did seem to me to be designed keeping in mind people who use alternate controllers somehow.

Anyways good luck with the game everyone! Enjoy!
