The downfall has begun.

Not that Hamilton is doing any histronics anyways. He was the Hero last year. He is the champion. Its more Hero to Zero for him I think. Ferrari hasnt won a race nor has Mclaren.

So why dont we just follow the season, cheer for the teams we like and see who wins at the end of the season.

As far as race prediction goes, Vettel is in a good position to take the win again. One Brawn on the podium for sure. There might be a Mclaren or a Toyota there as well. Hoping to see Ferrari leave this race with some points.

Spoken like a true Ferrari fan who drives to Mercedes factories in a BMW !

At least one Team BHPian is at the circuit - Joz is at Sakhir cheering for Vettel!

Really cool. Guess ill just have to stick on to websites for this weekend. I lost my subscription of star sports, big tv is really annoying (at times)!!

For all the Merc fans, lets keep our fingers crossed, hope everything will fall back into position in Spain.

That's if they're allowed to race.
Anyway, despite having a pretty poor car, Hamilton has been pretty good on the track.

Haha Steeroid!

Boring race though, only thing which livened up the race for me was commentating on the race for F1Fanatic's liveblog. Button the driver of the race for me.

Overall a boring predictable race. BTW Who was the 'English' commentator in Star Sports ??

This bloke was on a Ferrari bashing spree and was getting on my nerves, and all he saw on track was a 'silver with sunny side up' !, and who in this part of the world care's a hoot about 'Middlesbrough accent' ???.

I thought this happens only in Britain. This guy was a total Hamilton freak and made me watch more of IPL.

Maybe i should watch barcelona on mute.

Ferrari's aim this weekend was to get atleast a point and they did that
And glad both Massa and Raikkonen finished the race.

:
Each team has so many people working continuously to develop and make the F1 car for each season, but how is it not none in Ferrari, McLaren, Renault etc thought about the loopholes like the BrawnGP, Toyota etc guys!!

Toyota engineers did a good job but the team does'nt have the race craft and neither do the drivers have the skill to get 100% out of it. Truli on soft tires could not pull off a simple overtaking move on a non-diffuser Redbull. He was looking really beat up after the race. Time for them to pick up some hot shot young driver.

^ Glock is a good young driver, it's the spirit and a second hot headed driver that's missing. the whole team is sleepy.

Toyota.. go poach Sutil.

Perhaps you don't know the fact that it was these teams - Ferrari, Renault and McLaren which helped draft the rules and specifications for the new season. When the aerodynamicists sat down together, they had a specific set of rules in mind. They all agreed upon them and wrote the specifications. They then designed cars for their own teams keeping that set of rules in mind. It was Brawn, Toyota and Williams which found loopholes in the specifications drafted by the OWG (Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, ...) It's completely unfair to call the engineers of Ferrari, McLaren or the rest of the teams incompetent, they just never thought of closing that loophole when writing the specs.

Between Trulli and Vettel, anyone would rate Vettel higher. Abilities of guys like Alonso and Vettel can transcend the ability of the cars themselves. It's not like others could overtake Trulli either. And the Red Bull owns the Toyota on a track, even without the diffuser. It was only Trulli's light qualifying lap which put him ahead of Vettel. Besides, Vettel couldn't overtake Trulli either, or he would've won the race. KERS or no KERS, there are just a couple of drivers (Alonso, Vettel) who can actually make the car do things it's not supposed to do. Everyone else has pretty much sucked when given a bad car (Rosberg, Sutil, Raikkonen, Kovalainen)

It was an exciting race.

And the Double deck Diffusers for sure made life difficult for cars in its slip stream. Its big time FOTA gets the OWG scrapped.

Vettel who was faster by more than 0.6secs than Trulli couldnt stay on his slipstream.

And finally Ferrari scored 3 points, which is still the worst ever start for them. The previous record was 4 points. But the updates coming in Spain should do more talking. Kimi's spirit & motivation behind the wheels was more evident. He did the maximum the F60 could ever do. Good to see him fight it out in the race.

More to come... And wishing good luck for all the Mclaren fans here!
