Default End of Max Mosley!!

Mosley confirms he will not stand for re-election

Max Mosley, President of Formula One racing’s governing body, the FIA, has confirmed he will not be standing for re-election to the post in October. Instead, Mosley is advocating former Ferrari team boss Jean Todt as his successor.

Mosley, who became President in 1993, formally announced his intention to stand down late last month, since when he says he has received dozens of messages from FIA member clubs asking him to reconsider. However, in a letter to the clubs published by the FIA on Wednesday he says his decision is now final.

Its really good for the future of F1, otherwise we are not knowing that is there going to be F1 season next year.
Now, I don't think so that Ferrari will start any new parallel rebel league to F1.

While this seems to be great news, a new person at the helm will also bring uncertainty. If it's really gonna be Jean Todt, you never know what will happen. We all know how unpredictable Ferrari really is! And under Todt, the team's tactics were not always sparkling clean.

Anyways, here's to a future we can look forward to!

I hope he does not do a U-turn again. I quite like the idea of Jean Todt succeeding him.

Yoohoo...Finally Mad Max is retiring (Keeping my fingers crossed as he is notorious for going back on his statements).
Hope to see better things in F1 now. Jean Todt is good but the needle of suspicion would always be on him due to his past links to Ferrari

Jean Todt! Jean Todt!

Vattinen would be a good candidate to lead the FIA though!

As now there is an Indian team on F1 grid, we should try to push Force India F1 all the way.

He will be known as person who made F1 cars safest in the planet and the person who put F1 whole together in jeopardy.
So it’s a good move.
Let us wait for the successor. JT? Don’t think the teams will agree on it.
