If Barichello wins and Button doesn't score, Button will be under extreme pressure in Abudhabi. Come on Rubens, you can do it!

Looks like the stage is set for a topsy turvy race. If it rains in the race like it did in qualifying, we might see a repeat of 2003 where we had an expensive parking lot off track Even Schumi was not spared.

Hope to see an exciting race tonight.

you bet. I was looking out for the spot that took most of the cars out of the race. there was a stream of water flowing on the road taking all drivers by surprise. only a handful survived it. remember?

All the best Kimi and Jenson!

Expecting Kimi to have a better 2010, either at McLaren or at Brawn...

Button in some real trouble now. He needs a really good race or else Barrichello has a real real chance in Abu Dhabi. Though I wouldn't mind seeing Rubens win a title after his 'always the bridesmaid, never the bride' career, Button will be furious if he loses it after such a great start to the year.

If Rubens can win in Brazil, the pressure will be on Button. We saw what happened to Hamilton in the 2007 season. The rain has just added to the excitement. Come on Rubens!

WHAT A START!!!

Drivers fighting, broken front wings, fire in the pits, safety car and what not.. That too just within a minute or two from the start of the race!! Whoever's not watching, switch on the TV NOW!!!

And so far..
Trulli - OUT
Sutil - OUT
Alonso - OUT

Congrats to Button, World Champion! Congrats to Webber, Race Winner! Good show by Vettel and Hamilton.

Did not get to watch the most of the race but Rubens' bad luck is unbelievable! He had a chance.

Was a pretty interesting race, Interlagos never disappoints.. Congrats to Jenson Button on clinching the world title.

And brilliant stuff by Hamilton to get onto the podium form starting 18th or so!! Amazing!

Woah Kimi n ferrari did really get it direct in their face with a BLOW of fire. That must have shaken up kimi. Mclaren's Hekki gave it to them in a BIG BOOM WAY.
This drivers driving around with fuel hose's is becoming to common and dangerous. Seems to be a fad now. F1's gotta do something about it.
But that is one moment to watch. Should be up on youtube if anyone missed that.

Action packed 1st half. Hats of to Hamilton out-going champion to score a podium finish.

Button who..?? Champion. Congrats. But frankly nobodys that interested. Yea ok hes won this year. Chapter over. Forgotten.

Icing on the cake. Mclaren Benz take 3rd in the Constructors. 1 more race to decide.

.
There is nothing to cheer about that incident. And one wouldn't know if that had shaken Kimi up as he continued driving. Kimi has seen been with McLaren and Ferrari both good teams and we never know if he is going to be back in McLaren again. There are some one team wonders still around.

Button won with a team that was about to exit F1 and in their first season (of course the contribution of Ross Brawn to the team is far greater than that of Button's).

Congratulations to Jenson Button for being world drivers champion !
Congratulations to Brawn GP for being world constructors champion !
And finally congratulations to the genius that is Ross Brawn . The man who has pulled off a miracle turning around the beleauguered Honda F1 programme into a world championship winning Brawn GP outfit . Yes they had time on their side but so did other teams like toyota etc .
Jenson has the most wins this year and IMHO a deserving champion . Wether he limped to the title or not fact is he is the best of 2009 .

It was another classic Brazillian GP . Interlagos is special .The racing was great and the title fight spiced it up . Webber deserves credit for a perfect weekend to land his second career victory .

Well tried Rubens and Vettel .

One of the most eventful races I've ever seen. Congrats to Jenson Button for winning the WDC and Brawn GP for winning the WCC.
Good, strong runs from Webber, Kubica and Hamilton. Kimi was unlucky. Thank God he was not injured.
Jarno Trulli should know better than to behave so poorly in public.

That's an inane opinion. He's a worthy champ and I'm happy for him even though I'm not a fan.

About Kovalainen's fire, it looks like the lollipop chap was at fault. Similar to Massa really. Pitcrew error rather than driver error. Fortunately, it didn't create a big fire.
