Test driver slots in teams are starting to fill up. Today McLaren announced that their 2 test drivers will be Pedro De La Rossa and this years DTM champion Garry Paffet. Also Bmw announced that their 3rd driver would be Robert Kubica

I think its good in a way if he becomes a tester, he will gain more experience of driving the car (cause its going to be diffrent with V8's), and he will certainly have a better chance next year.

Williams is one of the most successful teams in F1 and to get associated to it in any capacity is good news for NK. he can derive a lot of knowledge on how a big team operates and then sell his services to other teams which are looking for a decent driver with good teahnical inputs. The only thing against NK is his age, with respect to F1 standards.

I Wont Be Surprised To See Nk In A1. Or..... He Could Try For The Second Seat In Super Aguri... But Thats Highily Unlikely.

Well, I hope he gets into the Williams team.... at least being a test driver is better than doing nothing... If he performs well this season, he might become a driver in 2007. Seeing that he already has experience in the f1 circuit with jordan.. he should be able to handle the things better this time around. The article says that Monterio is also getting sacked and replaced....... I thought Midland was gonna keep him..

Williams have confirmed Wurz as their third driver for 2006.

That means he has no chance at williams. I hoped to see him in F1 in 2006 but seems he has very few chances now.

Vinod Midland has already confirmed Monterio as one of the race drivers for next year along with albers (ex Minardi). As for getting the second seat at Super Aguri, that is unlikely as well as Sato is pretty much confirmed along with the possibility of Pizzonia or another whose name i cant seem to find who was in Formula Nippon. Him going to A1 for a few races would be good as we need a decent driver India has not even scored one point. I was at the dubai race and watched Ebrahim race and he was not impressive at all. The only reason why he is driveing is because his dad is the manager. He has hardly any experince (Formula BMW asia) and only managed 7th place at the world final of FBMW. Narain has experince and could do a good job and maybe we will get a point. P.S Michael Schumacher is 37 today. Questions bieng raised over his future

I think a second test driver will not be travelling with the team and driving on Friday. Rather he will be testing the cars separately at different tracks, similar to what Luca Badoer did for Ferrari last year. If Wurz is sick or injured, Narian will step in for Friday duties.
