Default Wow, what a Gift!

Thanks Team BHP for dishing out this gift. Just back from a Road Trip to Goa, celebrating second anniversary. Checked mail today after a long break and the first thing I noticed, "Membership Approved". My first reaction "WOW".
My wife has given me a glance at least a few times, since I started going through the "Post New Thread" section, its gone be interesting.

Thanks again to team BHP..and a big hello to all the BHPians.

Welcome onboard Nacd80. Do make a quick pitstop to our rules section to see how our board functions.

Btw, It would be nice if you can add a bit more to your introduction like what do you do, what you like about team-bhp and a little information about your rides

Thanks all.
I am putting together my bit on the Road trip to Goa. Should be there in a few days.

@mobike008
Sorry, missed that part (Out of sheer excitement though)
Basically from Mumbai, still getting used to Pune. Another one from IT sector.

I currently have an one and half year old Maruti Suzuki Ritz (Vxi ABS), has clocked more than 28k. Thats my first car. And boy I love her!

Hi Sridhar,
consider these:

1. Its a good car, if you want a engine matching swift and dont like swifts exterior. well then Ritz is a good option.
2. Its good on pick up and FE. I have got an average of 13.75 (Min 10.5 and Max 15.76). Guess, its a decent average.
3. And then its a Maruti, so being a maruti car it has its own advantages and disadvantages. The rattles will eventually start at some point of time. The service/ spare cost is less, and ample service station.
4. The K12 engine is quite silent per the Maruti standard. Its quite responsive, unless the car is loaded full. It will deliver power when you ask for it, especially in second and third gear.
5. The headroom is ample and gives you a feel of big car.

There are a few things which I dislike a bit.

1. Boot space is minimal. You dont really need the boot in your daily office to home commute, but then you really really fill it when you go for a long drive. If you have couple of big bags, well thatís all you can put in!
2. Five people can fit in, but itís a bit cramped at the rear for three people. and you really have put the pedal down if u want a good acceleration.
3. Rear seats are stiff. I havenít been at that place for a long, but then you fill the bumps as they are. And the stiff seats donít make it comfortable.

I would suggest you have a look at Figo once. Itís a good car, with big boot space. And do go for ABS. Itís a life saver when you need it.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any additional inputs.
