Default Just another typical techie from Bangalore

Hi People,

I am Venkat, a 27 years old typical married software developer from Bangalore. I took some time to think of what to write in my introduction that would be readable by Team-BHPians. The first 2 words that came to my mind were "places" and "vehicles".

I have stayed in Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. My first vehicle was a blue Hercules Bicycle when I was around 8 years old. Then, I got an Atlas Tango Black Bicycle when I was 14. I started earning at 21 and immediately bought my first fuel powered vehicle - Bajaj Pulsar DTSi 150cc Black.

6 months before, thanks to the influence of Team-BHP community, I became the proud owner of Maruti Suzuki Swift VDi Sunlight Copper. So far, I have a driving experience of around 4000 kms in the city and highways.

I did my Mechanical Engineering from an NIT, but switched to software industry later. I love to visit places and observe people and things around. In my leisure, I do story writing and Do-It-Yourself kind of projects.

I am here just to smoothly blend into our community and become a Team-BHPian.

Peace,
Venkat

Welcome aboard mate. There are a number of "typical techies" from Bangalore here in team-bhp. Would like to hear from you about the initial ownerships and some of your travelogues. If "places and vehicles" are the first words that come to your mind, these are the words that are always on my mind!

Thanks for a warm welcome. I will post about my initial ownership after second service of my car (June 2011) and the travelogue after my Yercaud trip 2 weeks later.

Welcome to Team-BHP Venkat. Story writing? That's interesting, published anything? Do share details of your DIY projects.

I am not a typical techie though... I work in a village.

Thank you. Graduated from NIT Nagpur. Was in Haryana in my school days (Bahadurgarh, Rohtak).
