Default Late intro -- better late than never !

Hello All;

After getting the green signal four months ago, here is my first posting in this forum.

Yes, I have been lurking around this website for the past few years, but that is besides the point.

I guess I needed four months to get the "its a new beast" sheen off my black bolero, which was taken to Goa from Chennai for its run-in.

I am Shyam, and I live in Chennai. I work as an Engineer, which pays for my travels.

I drive a Bolero vlx crde (black, of course) and the home minister drives a Ford Figo (Diesel).

I did roam around the country in a Royal Enfield Thunderbird (around 40+K kms all over India, including Leh), and it is time to show my Bolero those worlds too.

Hoping to have fun lurking around this website and adding an post or two to confuse the mix even more !

Shyam

Welcome to Team BHP, Shyam. 40k km on a Thunderbird sound s great - how about a travelogue soon? And yes, we would love to follow you on your travels in your Bolero too. You also seem to love cycling (like new member trek), so what bicycle do you use?

Oh, and what kind of engineer are you? We love all engineers on this forum!

SS-Traveller - I used to write quite frequently. But, I am yet to finish my last year's Leh travel report !

The first two parts are up here --
gajabhuja funda: The trip that was not meant to be - Part 1
gajabhuja funda: The trip that was not meant to be - Part 2

I have a Hero Hawk that I retrofitted with SRAM gears. I plan to upgrade that soon. Let's see if I can persuade the home minister to give the nod for that !

I am a software engineer.
