Default A villager from Gujarat joins Team BHP

Hello Jeepers,

My childhood dream of having a jeep came true when I bought a MM540XD 2WD.

Make: 1995
KM run: 76000
Everything was in stock configuration - nothing modified. I converted it to 4WD.

Thanks Team BHP for providing a platform to connect to all jeep enthusiasts.
I own this jeep since last seven months, drove it more than 6000 KM and am very happy with it.
There are some issues (posted in 4x4 technical section) after I got it converted to 4WD but I am sure they would be sorted out.
So I can say that I purchased the right vehicle and would like to give credit to reading of posts in this forum.

Thanks.

Welcome HJ13. That's a nice machine you got there.

Will read your experience of converting it from 2WD to 4WD.

BTW, where is Sanosara? I'm from Surat and never heard of this place.

Welcome to the team, I have noticed one thing in the last picture. The Radiator of your Jeep is completely choked, you dont have to replace it just a clean up by radiator mechanic will do.

Hello Jasmeet,
In fact I have changed the radiator, the photograph is an early one.
Thanks for pointing it out and welcoming me.

Hi HJ13,

Nice to see a fellow Jeeper from Gujarat. I am based out of Ahmedabad and drive a 540 with a few mods. Should be good to catch up sometime if you come this side.

Do get in touch,
Adi

Welcome HJ13.

Having converted your MM540 in a 4WD you now need to change tyres to match the 4WD use pattern. IMHO the tyres you have would not offer much benefit in 4WD mode.

Thanks Jayabusa.

BTW I work as a freelancer in software engineering and chose to be closely connected with the soil.
