Default Another Wolf in Sheep's clothing! !

Hi Guys,

I am from Ernakulam (cochin), Kerala.

I was introduced to this site by a friend and I should say this is just what I was lacking in my life. This site is hugely appreciated by people like me and I truly thank all the people who are behind this great venture.

Myself, I am 26, Married with 2 kids and I'm into construction business.

I am a true worshipper of cars from the age of 5 as my father was an avid motoring elthusiast. He used to attend car rallies in his Hindustan Ambassadors and later with a Premier Padmini ! !. (Period).

And that heritage is kept alive.
I spent most of my life in Johannesburg, South africa. I did my schooling and higher studies over there. It was a really fascinating experience as Mercs, BMWs, Porsches, Subarus, and almost all exotic cars were to be seen in flesh like a normal routine. I did go for an advanced driving course there and got membership in a local car reviewers' club. Using that oppurtunity, I drove many cars which I dreamt of innumerable times. Driving was always a passion and I started doing so from the age of 11. (not on the roads ofcourse! I did it only when I was 14).

Now I'm living in Kerala (I'm still confused why it is GOD'S OWN COUNTRY). I always used to drive my father's cars and 2 months ago I bought myself a Maruti Alto which I use for my city driving. I did some cosmetic job with paints, stickers and lights (including strobes).

I am glad I'm a TEAM-BHP member now and would like to hear from you all.

Regards,
Zak.

Welcome Zak. Nice to have you sign up. We seem to be getting popular with the Kochi crowd these days! Did you attend the autocross that was held last weekend?

Also, seems like you have a nice garage. Better keep what E220 (if its a W124) safe as GTO would love to take it off your hands!

I joined u guys immediately after that event. I regret of not hearing about u 1 day before.

Dad's E 220 is W124!! He's currently sent it to the Mechanic for a repaint and He's also got clear lens lamps from Finland exclusively to be fitted in it.

You DID mean Zonda right?! . And what is your REAL name Mr. Interesting Life?

Another question. Like someone else asked... WHY an alto when there are better looking, more powerful and more comfortable hatches around to drive? Any particular reason you chose it? It seems a little too underpowered to keep your other cars company.... like David twiddling his thumbs next to Goliath.

Godspeed.

Alok.
