Thumbs up Here I am!!

Hi All,
Greetings from Pune.

Let me start by thanking the mods for accepting me as a member of this community I call home now.
I have been an avid reader of the posts here since the past 8 odd years. But never thought about being the one to contribute anything to the numerous discussions.
Over the past years, I have made a list of all the people who's posts I followed and wanted to personally thank. But now that list is ridiculously long. Besides, I won't offend anyone whom I don't mention. Small things like how to get the best out of your your or how to fix things have helped me a lot. So a huge thanks to all Team-BHPians for their insightful comments and posts.
Finally, I am taking the step and a huge reason behind that is because I now work at a company which allows me to have access to internet and not a lot of work to do as of now.
I am new to the world of posting on the net. Hence, the mods will have a difficult time going through my posts sometimes. Please forgive me for being naive.

Will share a lot of experiences I have had so far with everything mechanical and electronic.
TC all.

Welcome.

You are right about the forum being helpful to car owners - the dealers or service station have profit &/or sales in mind when talking to customers, which may not necessarily arrive at the most logical solution. At Team-Bhp we look at the mechanicals, reliability, way the car drives etc in a straightforward, organic sense thus helping the people understand the possibilities/issues a lot faster.

Congrats on becoming a BHPian. Going by what you intend to share the Technical Stuff thread awaits.

I was planning to post my travelogue. However, I had a question, an answer to which I could not find anywhere.
While posting pics of my vehicles, is it mandated/recommended that I block out the number plates?
I see some posts with them and many more without them.
Ethical conundrum.

Welcome aboard DevilzzzzOwn. To answer your query, you may or may not blank out number plates of your own vehicles. The choice is entirely yours. However, if you are putting up pictures of supercars, we insist on having the registration plates blanked out.

Hope that helps.

Thanks MoralFibre. Was just speaking with a fellow BHPian and decided to go with blacked out number plates.
Just don't want identifiable information available online.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks.

Although, mine was more on the lines of Bryan Adams song:
Here I am - this is me.
There's no where else on Earth I'd rather be.
Dedicated to Team-BHP!!
