Default Hello Team-BHP!

Hello to everyone here at Team BHP,

First and foremost let me thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the moderators and administrators for approving my membership. Always wanted to be part of this forum, been following it for the past couple of years and now I can be a part of one of the biggest Automotive community in India.

Thank You All!!!

Now for the formal introduction- I am a business analyst by profession way down in Trivandrum. Always been an enthusiast and avid follower of any sort of machines. A biker part of one of India's biggest stunt riding team, and a part time tune up mechanic too.

I have been part of many automobile organisations in past, was a privilege working with them, but now unfortunately confined to a desk job; missing the grease and sweat big time. But still manage to get some on weekend though!

Now the cars-

1. Fiat Padmini 137D
2. Ambassador Mark 3- Matador Engine
3. Maruti Suzuki Omni (I learned driving in this)
4. Maruti Suzuki Zen
5. Tata Indica Xeta LX
6. Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 MJD
7. Skoda Octavia 1.9 L&K
8. Skoda Rapid 1.5 TDI

Long story short- Driving has always been my passion. I have done road trips to all of South India from Trivandrum. Passion of driving so much landed me a brief stint in certain magazines regional and international. But to be a full time Automobile journalist in India, is kind of tough. But the reviews in Team-BHP changed my perception of it. All the reviews are a no non-sense, without sugar coated truth. Yes that is what customers/consumers want and need. I hope to increase my knowledge in automobile technologies and especially DIY's through direct interaction with all other members and sharing my own contributions to them. Looking forward to all of the new things and experiences.

One more for more bhp! Team-BHP.

P.S. No introduction thread is complete without any pictures- I am uploading a couple of them.

Thank you,

RevJ

Like your cars European eh? It's very hard to move back to Japanese or Korean cars after a fine European ride.

Why do you say tough?

Yes I agree with you; but Honda City,Civic and Mitsubishi Cedia have more soul than the Europeans.

I tried approaching few of the big names in the magazine business, I will never say they don't have passion towards it. But marketing and promotions have much bigger advantage of me, and I am still a kid on the block as some have quoted. One can prove himself if opportunity arise, but unwillingly no one is ready to take the risk and hand down the responsibility!. Then again it's my experience and views.

Will try my best to share my insights.
